Among the conclusions, it is established that digital leadership not only involves the use of ICT, but also has to do with aspects related to people.</p>2025-07-01T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Administración y Organizacioneshttps://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/618Impact of Corporate Governance on the Profitability of Service Companies in the BMV2025-01-07T19:27:38-06:00Martha Beatriz Mota Aragónbeatrizmota4@gmail.comNestor Aquino Ontiverosaqui23dx@gmail.com<p style="font-weight: 400;">This paper examines the impact of effective Corporate Governance (CG) practices on companies in the Mexican service sector that are listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV). It specifically analyzes the composition of the Board of Directors—including the number of board members, the number of independent directors, and the presence of women on the board—in relation to key financial profitability metrics: Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). The study employs a qualitative analysis of 123 annual reports over the selected period, alongside a quantitative examination of profitability indicators derived from the financial statements of 41 sampled companies from 2021 to 2023. The findings indicate that the companies analyzed do implement effective CG practices within their Boards of Directors; however, the impact of these practices on profitability indicators is inconclusive, revealing only weak evidence of a correlation.</p>2025-07-01T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Administración y Organizacioneshttps://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/636The Myth of the Sole Provider: Review of the Book The Crisis of Social Reproduction: 21st Century Debates2025-07-07T13:50:28-06:00María Graciela León Matamorosrayo@correo.xoc.uam.mxJulio Jesús Broca Hernándezrayo@correo.xoc.uam.mx2025-07-10T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Administración y Organizaciones
