César Vega Zárate Copyright (c) 2025 Administración y Organizaciones http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/579 Thu, 26 Jun 2025 00:00:00 -0600 Creation of the Fraternal Mission Foundation of care for elderly people in social risk conditions https://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/583
The research presented below is due to the need to provide care to older adults who are at risk located in the Tenza Valley Region of the Department of Boyacá. The research seeks to understand digital leadership skills as virtual communication. Regarding the methodology, a total of 59 questionnaires were applied in the city of Obregon, Sonora. The research is quantitative with descriptive scope, statistical analysis was used and SPSS software version 23 was used. The main results show that awareness, willingness and the use of ICT in leadership stand out above the rest of the skills. Among the conclusions, it is established that digital leadership not only involves the use of ICT, but also has to do with aspects related to people.
José Carlos López Figueroa, Oscar Ernesto Hernández Ponce, Karla Guadalupe Arce Ramírez Copyright (c) 2025 Administración y Organizaciones http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/597 Tue, 01 Jul 2025 00:00:00 -0600 Impact of Corporate Governance on the Profitability of Service Companies in the BMV https://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/618
This paper examines the impact of effective Corporate Governance (CG) practices on companies in the Mexican service sector that are listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV). It specifically analyzes the composition of the Board of Directors—including the number of board members, the number of independent directors, and the presence of women on the board—in relation to key financial profitability metrics: Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). The study employs a qualitative analysis of 123 annual reports over the selected period, alongside a quantitative examination of profitability indicators derived from the financial statements of 41 sampled companies from 2021 to 2023. The findings indicate that the companies analyzed do implement effective CG practices within their Boards of Directors; however, the impact of these practices on profitability indicators is inconclusive, revealing only weak evidence of a correlation.
Martha Beatriz Mota Aragón, Nestor Aquino Ontiveros Copyright (c) 2025 Administración y Organizaciones http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/618 Tue, 01 Jul 2025 00:00:00 -0600 The Myth of the Sole Provider: Review of the Book The Crisis of Social Reproduction: 21st Century Debates https://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/636 María Graciela León Matamoros, Julio Jesús Broca Hernández Copyright (c) 2025 Administración y Organizaciones http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rayo.xoc.uam.mx/index.php/Rayo/article/view/636 Thu, 10 Jul 2025 00:00:00 -0600
