Abstract

The art field has been studied from the sub sectors that compose it, and that has disabled the research of similarities between organizations from this particular sector. This article pretends an approach to a first classification of the field from the characteristics of the creative entrepreneurs to open the dialogue about its structure. First a new organizational classification based on the resemblances that exist within the institutional logics that allow a network explanation of this field is presented. Then the effect of this structure in individuals is presented. Finally, it is exemplified with an empirical study of colombian and mexican artistic organizations. As a conclusion the new organizational model will be presented to explain this classification which allows a study of the importance of identity in the structuration of processes.
