Faced with the challenges facing our planet today, organizations are forced to become more creative and proactively develop innovation that achieves resilient, inclusive, and sustainable societies. Transformational leadership has been identified as one of the main factors in achieving this. Therefore, the aim of this research was to describe the publications of the Web of Science, from 2000 to 2020, on LT and its relationship with innovation and green. The literature review consisted of three phases: identifying, selecting, and describing publications. The descriptors "transformational leadership", "innovation" and "green" were used. The results reveal a significant increase in publications in the year 2020, in general, are empirical quantitative studies to demonstrate the importance and/or effect that LT has on organizational innovation.
