Abstract

This paper questions the measures that socially responsible companies implemented to manage relations with their workers during the National Day of Healthy Distance by Covid-19 in Mexico. The objective is to contribute to the theoretical discussion and studies developed around CSR and to provide empirical content to make an evaluation regarding the behavior of companies carrying the Distintivo ESR. In the first part, some definitions of the term CSR are covered and the lines of analysis that we use to channel our research are presented. In the second part, arguments are presented regarding the management of CSR in Mexico and its challenges in the framework of the pandemic by SARS-CoV-2, to later describe the CSR model proposed by CEMEFI. Finally, the results of the research carried out in March-May 2020 are presented in a case study.
