Abstract

Sustainability addresses three dimensions: the conservation of natural resources and the environment; the recovery of the social fabric; and economic viability. In these areas, the creation of collaborative networks is a fundamental element for the different projects and organizations to approach this goal. Agroecology contributes to sustainability in a systemic sense by transforming both the productive activity and the socio-environmental environment, it has been configured as an alternative, in recent decades, for small local producers, who supported the formation of networks social organizations have chosen to promote productive, innovative projects with environmental criteria. The objective of this work is to identify and analyze, in the light of the experience of an agroecological project, the formation of networks oriented to implement and strengthen environmental projects that offer greater efficiency in the use of resources, less environmental deterioration and employment alternatives for the population.
